Minneapolis Home & Garden Show 2019 Ticket Discount & Giveaway (Ends 2/18)

The Minneapolis Home & Garden Show is happening Feb 22 – 24, and March 1-3, at the Minneapolis Convention Center, and I have a special $3/TICKET DISCOUNT to share – plus a TICKET GIVEAWAY!

Free Dental Care for Minnesota Children in Need February 1 & 2 (2019)

Free dental care services will be provided for children in need across Minnesota on Friday, February 1 and Saturday, February 2.

The Minnesota Dental Association’s annual Give Kids a Smile event is providing free dental care to children in need at nearly 100 dental clinics throughout the state.

To find a clinic with open appointments, just call United Way 211 (just dial 2-1-1) or visit mndental.org. Appointments can then be scheduled directly with the dental office.

Patients must be 18 years or younger and accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Dentists will be providing free exams, fillings and sealants. Specific services provided at each location will be outlined when an appointment is scheduled.

Volunteers speaking multiple languages are also available at many locations to help with language barriers.

Minnesota dentists have provided free care to more than 70,000 children and donated services valued at more than $19.7 million over the past 16 years to Give Kids a Smile.

Free Park Friday 2018 is November 23 (Black Friday) in Minnesota #FreeParkFriday

If you’re looking for something fun to do besides shopping on Black Friday this year, check this out!

Admission to all 75 Minnesota state parks and recreation areas will be FREE on Friday, November 23rd, 2018! Admission is regularly $7 for one-day vehicle permit.

The goal is to encourage families to get outdoors and get active (which of course, we could all use after that big turkey dinner…).

Plus, a few parks will offer special programs on Free Park Friday.

1.Check what you have on hand, first. You may have unopened boxes of colored pencils, notebooks, rulers, or glue in your house.
