It’s National Coffee Day on Tuesday, September 29th, 2026! On this day, you can get free (or discounted) coffee at these locations in the Twin Cities and/or nationwide. It’s fall, and I think as the air gets chillier, a warm cup of coffee sounds so wonderful.
I think that’s why National Coffee Day is always on September 29th, right after fall begins. But if you like iced coffee (and the weather may still be warm enough) there are ways to get free iced coffee as well! This is a starter list – I’ll be posting more deals as I find them!
Beans & Boots Coffee (Farmington) – On Tuesday, September 29th, buy one coffee-based drink and get the second 50% off!
Caribou Coffee – On Tuesday, Sept. 29th, guests can choose a free medium Hot Coffee or Cold Brew with the purchase of any beverage at participating Caribou Coffee locations nationwide.
Duck Donuts – FREE Medium Coffee or Cold Brew with any purchase. They have one Minnesota location in Woodbury.
Dunkin – On Tuesday, September 29th, Dunkin’ Rewards members can enjoy a free medium hot or iced coffee, with any purchase through the Dunkin’ app.
Dunn Brothers – On National Coffee Day, all guests can enjoy a free small brewed coffee or cold brew. This is a big deal! In some previous years it was only available to app users but this year everyone gets a free small coffee.
Kwik Trip – If you are a Kwik Trip rewards member (which is free), check your app for this year’s offer: a FREE 20 oz Karuba Coffee via the app!
McDonald’s – In previous years they had a deal in the app. Check back!
Paris Baguette – On September 29th, Paris Baguette is giving PB Rewards Members a FREE medium hot or iced coffee with any purchase.
7 Brew – On Tuesday, September 29th, get a free license plate sticker with any drink purchase and show off your state pride! They have multiple locations in Minnesota.
Scooters – From September 27th through September 29th, grab a FREE medium brewed coffee when you use their app! Offer valid when you order ahead, scan for loyalty, or pay with the Scooter’s Coffee app, September 27-29, 2026, only. Limit one per customer per day. Discount cannot be combined with any other offer. Purchases made through any third-party delivery provider are not eligible for this offer.
Smash Park (Roseville) – Rewards members can enjoy $5 Espresso Martinis from September 28th – 30th.
Verona Coffee – This is an online brand. Get 25% off all bagged coffee.
