I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE coffee. I especially love it with chocolate, but I don’t love the calories!
I also LOVE Starbucks, especially their mocha drinks. But I don’t love the cost!
Here is a Starbucks Copycat Skinny Mocha recipe that will both save you calories and money, and it tastes delicious!
You can also customize it however you want. If you want a regular mocha, you can use regular creamer and whipped cream instead of sugar-free and light versions.
I usually mix things up – I’ll have some real flavored syrup, like vanilla or hazelnut, but I’ll use stevia instead of sugar.

Starbucks Copycat Skinny Mocha Recipe
Yields 20oz iced or 12oz hot
Prep time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
• 1 cup of espresso, hot or chilled
• 1/2 cup of sugar free hazelnut creamer
• 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder (I love Trader Joe’s Unsweetened Cocoa Powder, but you can use any kind you wish)
• 3 teaspoons of sweetener (sugar, or a substitute like stevia or monk fruit)
Optional toppings:
• Light Whipped cream
• Sugar free chocolate syrup
Instructions:
1. First make your expresso or dark roast coffee.
You can make it in a coffeemaker, french press, or an expresso machine if you have one (I LOVE my Nespresso machine)
2. Add espresso, creamer, cocoa and sweetener to mug and stir until combined. Add to a shaker bottle and shake for better results and return to mug.
3. Top with whipped cream and syrup.
For iced option, pour ingredients over ice then mix.
Otherwise, enjoy it hot!
