If you have a train-loving kiddo at home, you may want to mark your calendar for Train Fest!
Train Fest is at the Minnesota Children’s Museum in St. Paul on Saturday, March 21st from 10:00am to 3:00pm. It’s shaping up to be a full day of train-themed fun—and it’s all included with regular museum admission.
Here’s what families can look forward to:
🚂 Train-themed activities throughout the museum Kids can celebrate all things trains with special hands-on activities happening across the museum.
🎶 Dance party with a live DJ Because every good kids’ event needs a dance break!
📚 Story time with Engineer Paul Engineer Paul from Choo Choo Bob’s Train Store will be stopping by to share train stories with young rail fans.
🔎 Museum-wide scavenger hunt A fun way to explore the museum while hunting for train-themed surprises.
🚆 Thomas & Friends: Explore the Rails exhibit Kids can get hands-on with train play in this popular special exhibit.
Cost?
It’s included in the cost of admission! Tickets purchased in advance online cost $17.95 each. Tickets purchased at the box office cost $19.95 each. Remember – you can save on admission with my code TCFM. With my code your ticket price will be $15.95.

Total cost is $30 for Minnesota Children’s Museum members, and $50 for non-members. This includes admission plus up to 90 minutes in the Conductor’s Club. This pass is required for both kids and adults.
Conductor’s Club passes are limited, so if that sounds fun for your family, you may want to grab one ahead of time.
