It’s National Coffee Day on Friday, September 29th, 2023! On this day, you can get free (or discounted) coffee at these locations in the Twin Cities and/or nationwide.
It’s fall, and I think as the air gets chillier, a warm cup of coffee sounds so wonderful. I think that’s why National Coffee Day is always on September 29th, right after fall begins. But if you like iced coffee (and the weather may still be warm enough) there are ways to get free iced coffee as well! This is a starter list – I’ll be posting more deals as I find them!

Caribou Coffee – Caribou Coffee is offering Caribou Perks Appreciation Week from September 25 through October 1. You need the app to enjoy the deals though. Caribou Perks Appreciation Week includes these rewards and offers in the Caribou Coffee app:
- Monday, Sept. 25 – Enjoy an extra shot of espresso or any beverage add on including oatmilk cold foam, a flavor shot or by adding chocolate to your beverage.

Holiday StationStores – If you are on their email list, check your email! They emailed a coupon for a $.99 ANY size coffee. Or just print this coupon for a $.79 medium hot coffee or cappuccino (expires October 9th)!
Kwik Trip – If you are a Kwik Trip rewards member (which is free), check your app for this year’s offer. Here’s this year’s offer: “Add the National Coffee Day offer in your account to receive a FREE belVita Breakfast Biscuit with any Karuba® beverage purchase!”
McDonald’s – Last year they had a deal in the app. Check back!
Panera – Currently you can get a FREE 2-month trial of Panera’s beverage subscription, but the last day to sign up is September 29th! They you’ll receive free coffee, iced tea, lemonade and fountain sodas for 2 months. After that you can sign up for $99 per year. Offer available in-app only. Other places that have offered free coffee or other deals in the past include Starbucks and Dunn Brothers. Check back for updates!
