I had my first coffee flight in 2022 at The Annabelle House in Osseo, a cute coffee shop with breakfast and lunch items as well. It was DELICIOUS and super fun to sample different coffee drinks in one order. This was a Halloween-themed flight in October:
Then I discovered and tried a coffee flight in Hastings at Froth & Cork, another cute coffee shop with many other menu offerings. This was a Valentine’s Day-themed coffee flight in February:
I have since been OBSESSED.
What’s a coffee flight?
You may have heard of wine or beer flights, which are smaller servings of several varieties in one order.
A coffee flight is the same thing but showcases different varieties of coffee! It’s a multi-beverage experience.
Since discovering some coffee flights in Minnesota, I went hunting for more and after finding many others doing the same thing in local Facebook groups, I decided to put together this roundup in one place!
Frugal tip: Coffee flights tend to be around $10 – $20 (at least as of 2025) but it’s usually plenty and great to share! I do notice however that iced coffee flights can be cups full of ice with a few sips of coffee, so consider asking for light or no ice if you want more coffee and therefore more bang for your buck (if it’s an option – sometimes coffee flights can’t be adjusted).

– Someone shared with me: Sip Happens in Rogers just celebrated their grand opening and they are offering coffee flights, lemonade flights and desert flights. They are the only coffee shop in Minnesota serving air roasted coffee beans for a smooth and less bitter cup of coffee. It’s a cute locally owned shop added to the Northwest suburbs.
