It’s time for the Just Between Friends Andover Kids Consignment Sale!
It’s Thursday, April 9th through Sunday, April 12th at the Andover YMCA Community Center!!!
I LOVE these sales. I’ve been both a shopper and a seller. I actually just made $124 at the White Bear Lake sale this month (they own both the White Bear Lake and Andover sales). And I actually didn’t do much of any work – I had a valet tagger price and drop off all my items! They do provide that if you don’t have time. And my items were priced to sell. I’m thrilled to make money and save other families money at the same time!

Also- learn about being a seller!
Selling takes time – but is so worth it. If you have a printer you can price items. You’ll also need hangers, safety pins (for attaching price tags), and possibly baggies to put certain items in to keep them protected (like small pieces). You keep a majority of the money made on your items.
If you don’t have the time, request a valet tagger! There is no upfront cost – they just keep a percentage of your sales. But you still make a lot!
How I work with a valet tagger
I’ve worked with a valet tagger a few times now. Here’s how it went each time:
After connecting with my valet tagger, I just prepared my items – I made sure they were clean, no tears/rips/stains, and boxed or bagged them up.
My tagger actually came and picked the items up and handled everything from there. Yes – pricing, listing, and dropping the items off. And if you use a valet tagger (at least for the north metro JBF sales), they store your unsold items between sales, and then drop them off for the next sales, for up to 2 years! It’s so convenient for you and you keep making money, doing nothing!
Note: I’m worked with other JBF sales in the area and each work a little differently. Some are pickier about the quality of the items and will charge you if an item has even the tiniest flaw because they have to pull the item off the sales floor. The JBF sales of Blaine/Andover and White Bear Lake/Maplewood understand how easy it is for busy parents to miss these things, so they don’t do that and have been great to work with so I’ve been loyal to them for a few years.

Be aware – valet taggers have limited space in their schedules so secure one soon! Otherwise, try pricing things yourself – once you get the hang of it, it gets easier.
