We have seen many Disney on Ice shows and always have a blast. We saw this show a few times and LOVED it!

I reviewed it in 2019 here and truly believed it was the BEST ONE we had seen yet! Here’s a video preview:

From my review: In “Mickey’s Search Party,” Captain Hook and his pirates have captured Tinkerbell, and to save her, Mickey and friends have gathered together as a “search party” to search for seven clues that will fill up the search meter and release Tinkerbell.
For every clue, we are introduced to a Disney movie that we all know and love, from Beauty and the Beast to Coco to Moana.
But what sets this Disney on Ice production from all the others is the acrobatics, the stunts, the audience participation, and the amazing special effects!

The seven movie performances we experience are:
- Beauty and the Beast (picture above)
- The Little Mermaid
- Aladdin
- Toy Story
- Moana
- Coco
- Frozen
Each movie performance was stunning in its own way. More than any other Disney on Ice show I’ve seen, there was so much happening and things moved so quickly, you didn’t want to look away and miss something! (I did look away for a moment and missed a cool stunt that Kristoff from Frozen performed!)
Toy Story was one of the best. The army men did some amazing stunts, and the choreography with Woody, Buzz, Jessie, Little Bo Peep, Hamm and the others was great. There was a big screen with animations and the army men were trying to get a ball from up above, and the ball bouncing back and forth was so neat!

The show was very interactive, too. There were several kids that participated in the show, either by pulling a rope to pull down a toy box, or rub the lamp and release the genie.
They also had the audience do the “wave” during Moana, and during Toy Story, the audience bounced a big ball around.

Coco was the most visually stunning performance. There were two women on tall wires that were swaying back and forth while the rest of the cast danced.

The last performance was from Frozen, with stunts, and Elsa performing “Let It Go.” It was so magical hearing all the kids singing along to the music!
I won’t spoil the end but we left happy!

Overall, the show was so much fun, and I highly recommend it.
NOTE: The show we saw in 2019 was likely a bit different than the show will be this year. So my review just gives you a taste of what to expect, but expect some differences.
Tips for going:
- Get there early to park and settle. There are a lot of people and there can be lines as it gets closer to showtime.
- Eat beforehand and save money! Food is expensive. Bottled Dasani water is $5.00, and they won’t give you cups to fill for water. (I brought in a couple of small water bottles of my own – at the very least, I recommend bringing in a cup or two of your own to fill with water if you want to save money.)
- If you leave your coats in your car (like we do), wear a sweater. Not sure how it will be this time, but last time, the arena was cold. My son only had a t-shirt on and he was cold – I myself was chilly.
