GIRL TIME FAMILY EVENT AT THE WORKS MUSEUM
What is Girl Time?
Girl Time is The Works Museum’s special event for girls and their families.
What can families expect?
Girls and families will have fun learning about engineering while exploring lots of hands-on activities and demonstrations presented by women working in engineering, and students in STEM fields. It’s a great opportunity to spend a day together discovering what engineering is all about and dreaming about future career possibilities in engineering and design!
When is it?

Where?
The Works Museum, 9740 Grand Ave S., Bloomington
Who is this for?
Open to the public, ideal for girls ages 5-12 and their grown-ups. Boys also welcome!
How much?
$8 Pre-registered, $10 at the door, $20 for tickets including the special SciGirls workshop. Members and kids 2 and under are free. No passes or coupons accepted.
Parking: Easy access from 35W and 494 and free parking in The Works Museum’s lot.

Also: Each child attendee will receive a free draw string backpack (while supplies last). Activities are included with the admission. You can also add on the family workshop, offered at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. to make your own toothpaste and build brushbots with the Society of Women Engineers and TPT’s SciGirls. Workshop tickets are $20/$12 for members and include your admission to all Girl Time activities.
