Otis Spunkmeyer Baked Goods Now in Stores & Giveaway

I remember Otis Spunkmeyer cookies when I was wayyy  younger…as individually wrapped muffins and cookies or sold from the school cafeteria or fundraisers. You just don’t forget these yummy goodies from when you grew up – and I’ve wondered when I’d find them again.

Well now I just found out that Otis Spunkmeyer has a new retail line of over 20 baked goods including new snack cakes, cupcakes, mini-muffins and muffins, and of course, its famous cookies and frozen cookie dough!

Otis Spunkmeyer has been a pioneer in the fresh-baked cookie business for nearly 40 years, but now you can find their baked goods in grocery stores as well as Walmart and Sam’s Club locations.

And good news – Otis Spunkmeyer has a ‘No Funky Stuff’ guarantee, meaning NO artificial flavors or colors, high-fructose corn syrup or partially hydrogenated oils. That makes me feel better not only about my kids enjoying them but hey! – I want some for myself without that yucky extra stuff, too.

Otis Spunkmeyer offered to send my family some treats to try, so of course I said yes! The snacks were then sent frozen to our house for freshness: Cinnamon Crumb Mini Loaf Cakes, Vanilla Frosted Creme Cakes, and of course, the Chocolate Chunk Cookies.

While my kids mostly enjoyed the creme cakes and the cookies (which I still love), I really liked the Cinnamon Crumb Loaf Cakes with milk or my morning coffee! I recommend warming up the treats a bit (especially the cookies), though my family just preferred to dive in (“Goodies!”) – they were gone a little faster than I expected…
