Gordmans Budget-Friendly Holiday Gift Ideas & Giveaway

We visited our  local Gordmans (there are four in Minnesota) and had fun exploring all the Christmas decorations and gift ideas galore. There were many aisles full of cheerful décor, stockings, wrapping paper, and gift ideas from coffee to Man Cave gift sets to perfumed lotions and so much more, and all for affordable prices (many under $10).  

Join the Frozen Frenzy: Not surprisingly, Frozen is the hot gift this year. During the holiday season, the movie will be re-released, adding more fuel to it as one of the highest-grossing animated films of all time. Legos continue to reign as a Christmas must-have, spurred by the Lego movie out this year and daily social media play–see #legos. It has been a favorite toy under the Christmas tree for 65 years. Gordmans has Legos toys, including popular construction sets for both boys and girls.

Another trending gift idea will be Teenage Ninja Mutant Turtles, such as action figures, role play costumes, puzzles and books. Radio Control Vehicles are also a hot gift trend. Gordmans has stunt vehicles, muscle cars and helicopters.

We also found Disney Cars toys, as well as Disney Planes: Fire & Rescue, a favorite of my 4-year-old.

The Elf has come off the shelf and is now mainstream in both toys and home décor. Social media has driven the popularity of “Elf Yourself” and “Elf on the Shelf” antics- the campaign has lasted eight years and, to date,  has spurred more than 470 million “Elf Yourself” videos.
