Arby’s King’s Hawaiian Roast Beef & Chocolate Lover’s Trio Review and GIVEAWAY!

I am happy to announce another Arby’s review and GIVEAWAY! This time I’m reviewing the King’s Hawaiian Roast Beef Sandwich and Chocolate Lover’s trio of desserts: the Chocolate Swirl Shake, Chocolate Turnover and Chocolate Molten Lava Cake (yeah, that’s a lot of indulgent chocolate!).

The King’s Hawaiian Roast Beef Sandwich is available in 2 varieties: Roast Beef, and Roast Beef & Swiss, and both are available for a limited time.

I tried the King’s Hawaiian Roast Beef & Swiss sandwich as part of a meal with a salad and milk. The sandwich was BIG (as in, HUGE) and juicy, and the King’s Hawaiian bun added a tasty sweetness. It’s made with 4 oz of thinly sliced roast beef, pickles and creamy dijon sauce. I thought it tasted great with swiss cheese but it would be also be very good without.

Now on to the chocolate part. Arby’s has a chocolate trio of desserts to satisfy all kinds of chocolate cravings. As a HUGE chocolate lover (I crave it every day), it was easy for me to try all three (though I DID share them):

The Chocolate Turnover is a “freshly baked, flaky turnover pastry with a sweet chocolate filling.” It’s basically like a croissant and was very flaky. It had just the right amount of chocolate as a drizzle on the outside and filling on the inside. I enjoyed it with my morning coffee.

After my King’s Hawaiian Roast Beef sandwich meal I had the Chocolate Molten Lava Cake. THAT was sooo good. “Decadent chocolate filling inside of a spongy chocolate cake topped with premium cocoa crumbles. In case you didn’t catch that, it’s chocolate inside of chocolate that’s topped with chocolate.” It was as good as those rich, indulgent desserts you get at fancy restaurants, without being such a huge portion that you have to share it. The portion size was just right, and it was warm and gooey and gooood.

And the Chocolate Swirl Shake was a “creamy chocolate shake, with chocolate swirl, real whip topping and even more chocolate swirl on top.” It is the richest, most chocolatey shake – my 5-year-old daughter shared it with me and loved it (she shares my love for chocolate).
