Who doesn’t love homemade cards?
How about a homemade POP UP card, for Christmas?
This is a cute Christmas Tree Pop Up Card that anyone can make. It’s great for kids or families to create together.
And I have FREE printable templates for you to use, so it’s super simple and all the instructions are here!
First you’ll need some simple supplies which you probably have at home. If not, you can easily find them at stores like Target, Walmart or Michaels.
List of supplies:
- Cardstock paper.
- Craft papers.
- Pencil
- Ruler
- Scissors
- Glue
- Marker pens.
- Free printable templates:
–Template 1 (full color)
–Template 2 (black and white, if you wish to color it yourself)
Step 1:
Fetch all the supplies.
Get your cardstock paper to prepare your card.
Fold the cardstock paper in half.
Step 2:
Then make a horizontal cut from the closed side of the card according to the PDF template (see above for 2 different free printable templates).
Step 3:
Then make a diagonal fold from the cutout area according to the PDF template.
Step 4:
Open the card’s fold.
Step 5:
Then, cut out the Christmas tree from the template.
Step 6:
Glue the Christmas tree over the folded part of the card.
Step 7:
Then, glue the star on top of the tree.
Step 8:
Glue a cover on the outer part of your card.
Step 9:
Glue the tree’s trunk on the bottom part of the tree.
Step 10:
Decorate the Christmas tree with colourful craft papers.
Voila! An adorable homemade 3-D card!
