The Minnesota Renaissance Festival in Shakopee takes place weekends August 22nd through October 4th, and you can get discounted tickets now including from Groupon!
Regular prices are:
Adults $29.95
Senior $27.95
Child $19.95 (ages 5-12)
Note that children 4 and under are FREE.
Advanced admission is $26.95 (adults) and $16.95 (children) including on Groupon.

Parking
Parking has changed at the festival in the last few years. You need to purchase a ticket for $15 in advance or $30 there. Or park and ride which is $6 per adult (children 5 and under are free). Parking at the Park & Ride lots is free. To me this is a good change as parking was always chaotic before.

- Check out their promotions page. Depending on when you attend, you can get discounts and even free tickets if you’re a student, are from a certain city, or even bring your pet. (They even have a Frugal Friday!)
- Check out their special packages and passes. Family 4-Packs are $79 on their website. You can also get weekend and season passes plus more.
- You can also find coupons to save on tickets at participating Kwik Trip, Menards, Coborn’s and Cub. Coupons are available at Great Clips, Papa Murphy’s, Leeann Chin and others.
- You can sometimes find discounted tickets at Costco.
