Families are invited to Deaf Day at the Minnesota Children’s Museum on Sunday, Sept. 27th from 10:00am – 3:00pm! Plus you can save on admission with my code!
The special event will give children and families an opportunity to explore American Sign Language (ASL) through hands-on activities, stories and play throughout the museum. Staff and students from Metro Deaf School will lead activities and share their knowledge of ASL with museum visitors.
Throughout the day, families can learn basic ASL signs, create a bookmark featuring their name in sign language, participate in story time and experiment with Squishy Circuits. ASL interpreters will also be available throughout the museum to help make the experience accessible to visitors.
Whether your family is already familiar with ASL or you’re discovering it for the first time, Deaf Day offers a fun way to learn, connect and explore together.
