Twin Cities families, mark your calendars! During the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games, Special Olympics is hosting a local free Young Athletes Festival designed for children ages 2–7, with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Families can enjoy playful movement stations, inclusive activities, and opportunities for young children to build skills, confidence, and friendships while experiencing the spirit of Special Olympics together.
The festival will take place at the National Sports Center in Blaine on June 22 and June 24, with a special event at Mall of America on June 23.
Plus, families who register will have the chance to win fun giveaways, including a WonderFold Wagon!
