Spring is officially here, and a popular seasonal tradition has returned — Farm Babies at the Minnesota Zoo! The event runs through May 17th and is packed with family-friendly fun, adorable animals, and festive weekend activities.

We visited early in May, and it was such an exciting experience for the whole family. From the moment we arrived, there was something happening around every corner. The zoo had live music, delicious food, face painting, a working blacksmith shop, fun photo opportunities, and of course — plenty of farm animals to meet!
One of the highlights was getting to see and interact with farm babies and their moms. There were so many adorable animals, including:
- 🐐 Goats
- 🐑 Sheep
- 🐖 Pigs
- 🦙 Llamas
- 🐔 Chicks

And for the very first time, visitors can also meet:
- 🐎 Miniature Highland cows
- 🐄 White Park cows
- 🫏 Miniature donkeys
Weekend festivities take place Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and include additional activities like demonstrations, story time, and more interactive experiences at the Farm.
