Take your kids for an educational and fun trip around the world at the Landmark Center in St. Paul! And for free!
Landmark Center’s Urban Expedition program is celebrating 22 years of programming this year. It provides everyone a unique opportunity to be immersed in cultures from around the world.
Kick off the 2026 Urban Expedition season with a colorful celebration of Caribbean culture featuring Trinidad and Tobago! This family-friendly event brings the islands to life with authentic music, lively dance performances, hands-on crafts, and delicious traditional cuisine — all designed to immerse you in the culture without leaving town.
Be sure to grab an Urban Expedition passport and collect a stamp at each program throughout the season for a chance to win a fun prize — a great (and free!) way to keep kids engaged all summer long.
Urban Expedition gives families the opportunity to explore global cultures right in the heart of Saint Paul. The program is presented in partnership with the Minnesota’s Caribbean American Cultural Center and is part of Sundays at Landmark, hosted at the beautiful Landmark Center. This series is produced by Minnesota Landmarks, the nonprofit organization that manages and programs the Landmark Center.
It’s a budget-friendly way to introduce your family to new cultures while making meaningful memories together.
