
The Marcus Theatres Kids Dream Winter Film Series is back in 2026 – get $3 admission!
The series runs from January 9th through March 1st on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with Monday holiday screenings on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and Presidents Day.
Each week features a different family favorite, and tickets are just $3 per person. Showtimes are between 10:30 a.m. and noon at 76 Marcus Theatres and Movie Tavern locations throughout the country.
In Minnesota, there are theatres in these locations:
- Duluth Cinema
- Lakes Cinema (in Hermantown, near Duluth)
- Oakdale Cinema
- Parkwood Cinema (Waite Park)
- Rochester Cinema
- Rosemount Cinema
- Southbridge Crossing Cinema
- West End Cinema
If you’re planning to see more than one movie, the Kids Dream Passport might be worth it—it’s $12 for all eight movies, which is a 50% savings. For more information or to purchase a passport, visit marcustheatres.com. It could be a nice way to spend a winter morning!
The Kids Dream movie series and passport are all about making moviegoing affordable for families. In 2024, Marcus Theatres gave out over 75,000 free or discounted tickets for this series. Jan. 23–25: Migration (PG) – A family of ducks leaves the safety of their home to take a journey of discovery across the world.

Feb. 6–8: The Land Before Time (G) – A young dinosaur and his companions journey through a dangerous world in search of the Great Valley.
Feb. 13–16: Smurfs (2025) (PG) – The Smurfs embark on a new adventure that takes them beyond their village and into the human world.
Feb. 20–22: Pets on a Train (PG) – A group of animals must work together after a train journey takes an unexpected turn.
Feb. 27–March 1: The Bad Guys 2 (PG) -The reformed Bad Guys face a new challenge that tests whether they are truly ready to be heroes.
