Okay friends, if you’re heading to the Minnesota State Fair this year, I’ve got a delicious stop for you. Over in the International Bazaar (southeast corner, just inside), Shanghai Henri’s has some seriously tasty new food and drinks.
I got to check them out thanks to @bespokeinfluence (thank you, Kristen!!) and wow—let’s just say my taste buds were very happy.

The Drinks
Shanghai Henri’s is serving up four new sips this year (from left to right, above):
-
Shanghai Sunset Seltzer – Peach + tropical fruit, light and refreshing. Perfect for walking the fairgrounds.
-
Grandstand Lime Up – A limey lager that’s crisp but with a touch of sweetness.
-
Apple Cider Pumpkin Spice – Basically fall in a glass. Sweet pumpkin-y cider.
-
Code Red Slushie – My fave!! It’s cherry + citrus in a frozen, boozy slush. So good on a hot fair day.
The Food
Now for the part that made my inner cheese-lover happy: Deep-Fried Pimiento Cheese Puffs with Raspberry Pepper Jelly.
Cheese. Puffs. Fried. Enough said, right? They’re gooey and melty with just a little kick, and the pepper jelly gives the perfect sweet-spicy balance. If you love cheese (and who doesn’t?), these are a must. Even my son loved them and he can be pretty picky.
Final Mom Thoughts
Between the fruity seltzer, cozy cider, and cheesy bites, Shanghai Henri’s is 100% worth a stop. Grab your drink, snag those cheese puffs, and take a little breather from the fair chaos inside the International Bazaar. (They have vendors and live music there too!)
