Looking for a memorable (and free!) summer adventure with the kids? Mark your calendar for Wednesday, July 2nd—because this is your chance to experience Saint Paul from above like never before.
For one day only, Landmark Center is opening its rarely accessible North Tower for a self-guided climb on Wednesday, July 2nd between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Once you reach the top, you’ll be rewarded with incredible views of downtown Saint Paul, the Mississippi River, and beyond. It’s a hidden gem in the heart of the city—and it’s totally free!
Along the way, you’ll discover some of the building’s lesser-seen architectural features, and each participant will receive a custom sticker designed by local artist Don Thomas as a keepsake to remember the climb. How cool is that?
Whether you’re a local history lover, a fan of cool city views, or just looking for a fun way to get the kids out and exploring, this rooftop experience is a unique way to kick off July.
However, know that the North Tower is only accessible via stairs, which is 61 stairs total from the 6th floor. So this is only available to those who can climb stairs.
