Free Pancakes on National Pancake Day!
Pancake lovers, get ready! IHOP is celebrating the 20th anniversary of National Pancake Day in a BIG way, with free pancakes!
IHOP also announced its goal to break the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for the most pancakes served in an eight-hour period, in celebration of the 20th anniversary of National Pancake Day on March 4th, 2025. The event, called “20K for Pancake Day,” aims to serve 20,000 pancakes at the Santa Monica Pier on Saturday, March 1st, from 9:00am to 5:00pm (pacific time). and while the record-breaking pancake event is happening in California, families here in Minneapolis/St. Paul can still get in on the fun – and the freebies!
On Tuesday, March 4th, IHOP is giving away a FREE Short Stack of buttermilk pancakes at participating locations! It’s from 7:00AM to 8:00PM. That’s three warm, fluffy pancakes – totally free! Just dine in and enjoy.
Pancakes with a Purpose
This isn’t just about yummy pancakes – it’s about giving back. IHOP is continuing its commitment to fighting hunger by partnering with Feeding America®. From March 1st to March 31st, you can round up your check or make a donation at participating Twin Cities IHOP locations to help provide meals for local families in need.

Our family enjoys eating at IHOP. The last time I ate there I had a yummy veggie omelet and my kids had the yummiest pancakes. They’re really good!
