The Marcus Theatres Kids Dream Winter Film Series is back in 2025 – get $3 admission!
The series runs January 24th through March 16th on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with an extra screening on Presidents’ Day, February 17th.
Each week features a different family favorite, and tickets are just $3 per person. Showtimes are between 10:30 a.m. and noon at 77 Marcus Theatres and Movie Tavern locations.

- Lakes Cinema (in Hermantown, near Duluth)
- Oakdale Cinema
- Parkwood Cinema
- Rochester Cinema
- Rosemount Cinema
- Southbridge Crossing Cinema

The Kids Dream movie series and passport are all about making moviegoing affordable for families. In 2024, Marcus Theatres gave out over 75,000 free or discounted tickets for this series. Jan. 24-26: King Fu Panda 4 (PG) – After Po is tapped to become the Spiritual Leader of the Valley of Peace, he needs to find and train a new Dragon Warrior, while a wicked sorceress plans to re-summon all the master villains whom Po has vanquished to the spirit realm.
Jan. 31-Feb. 2: Trolls Band Together (PG) – Poppy discovers that Branch was once part of the boy band “BroZone” with his brothers, Floyd, John Dory, Spruce, and Clay. When Floyd is kidnapped, Branch and Poppy embark on a journey to reunite his two other brothers and rescue Floyd.
Feb. 7-9: If (PG) – A young girl who goes through a difficult experience begins to see everyone’s imaginary friends who have been left behind as their real-life friends have grown up.
Feb. 14-17: Despicable Me 4 (PG) – Gru, Lucy, Margo, Edith, and Agnes welcome a new member to the family, Gru Jr., who is intent on tormenting his dad. Gru faces a new nemesis in Maxime Le Mal and his girlfriend Valentina, and the family is forced to go on the run.
Feb. 21-23: Hitpig! (PG) – A bounty hunter pig finds himself trekking the globe with a free-spirited elephant he intended to capture.
Feb. 28-Mar 2: Abominable (PG) – Three teenagers must help a Yeti return to his family while avoiding a wealthy man and a zoologist who want him for their own needs.
Mar. 7-9: Transformers One (PG) – The untold origin story of sworn enemies, Optimus Prime and Megatron, who were once bonded like brothers.
Mar. 14-16: Smallfoot (PG) – High up on a mountain peak surrounded by clouds, a secret Yeti society lives in peace and harmony. The society is rocked to the core when they witness an airplane crash and find a legendary creature inside.
