Looking for a safe, indoor place to trick-or-treat on Halloween?
Many Halloween celebrations at area malls are happening this year, so there is plenty of opportunity for costume and candy fun! Here is my compilation of Twin Cities Shopping Districts, Centers & Malls where your kiddos can trick or treat for free this year!
Halloween – Thursday, October 31st
Mall of America. 1:00pm. Receive a bag full of goodies while enjoying a spooktacular setting complete with music and photo opportunities. To accommodate children with allergies, the Anaphylaxis and Food Allergy Association of Minnesota (AFAA) will be in Southeast Court handing out allergy friendly trinkets and AFAA resources. Nickelodeon Universe® will be transformed into Nickelodeon Booniverse with spooky décor—including a 1,111-pound pumpkin and the mesmerizing Fright Lights music and light show at night. Attendees can also experience the Log Chute, reimagined as the Fog Chute for the Halloween season.
Prefer a smaller mall? (Like any other mall in America…)
