Twin Cities families! You might remember an event called “Girl Time” at The Works Museum in Bloomington. We attended and it was so much fun, encouraging girls to learn about engineering.
Now it’s back but it’s called “She Engineers.” It’s on Saturday, September 28th from 10-4, and I have 4 tickets to give away!
SHE ENGINEERS FAMILY EVENT AT THE WORKS MUSEUM
What is She Engineers?
She Engineers is The Works Museum’s special event for girls and their families. It’s an event that highlights the work of women in STEM careers. Guests will have the opportunity to meet amazing role models and participate in exciting demonstrations!
It’s on Saturday, September 28th from 10-4.
What can families expect?
Girls and families will have fun learning about engineering while exploring lots of hands-on activities and demonstrations presented by women working in engineering, and students in STEM fields. It’s a great opportunity to spend a day together discovering what engineering is all about and dreaming about future career possibilities in engineering and design!
At She Engineers, The Works Museum brings together women engineers from corporations around the Twin Cities to showcase their work, discuss their experiences working in STEM, and to facilitate dozens of interactive activities and demos.
