I returned to Eco Chico in West St. Paul to sell some of my kids used clothing items and I sold 22 of them quickly and for money on the spot!
Plus, they have a great selection of Back to School clothing and items, and I am partnering with them to give away 2 $50 gift cards so you can shop for back to school or anything there!
Here’s my story – plus some fun we had around the area.
As I shared in a previous post, Eco Chico Boutique is located in West St. Paul, Minnesota, and is a vibrant and eco-friendly shop. The boutique offers a lot of high-quality, gently used, affordable baby and kids’ clothing, accessories, equipment, and toys.

The shop is owned by a local mom, Krystell Escobar-Theisen. She’s a mom of 3 who wanted to open a shop that would save families money while also saving the environment at the same time. This shop does both by giving used items a new life, reducing how many new items a family needs to buy, and pricing items affordably. Items here are priced at around 70% off the retail price, and are 50-60% cheaper than you’d find even at Target.
Check out some of their clothing for Back to School!

They have clothing for babies through kids size 18, as well as maternity.

They have backpacks and other items.

Many items are only a few dollars.

And if you have some items to sell – sell them here!
I tried selling some of my items here. I had some bins of my kids’ old clothes that were still in good condition, and I brought them in.
I handed the store associates the clothing, gave them my info, and then went with my kids to Micho Love, an ice cream shop just a few steps away. We enjoyed some ice cream for maybe 20 minutes. It was super yummy.

There’s a lot more to do in the area too like Thompson Park, Baskin Robbins, and lots of restaurants. Here’s a glimpse of Thompson Park.

After eating our ice cream we went back to Eco Chico and they were all done! They said they could buy 22 of my items for either $15 payment to me, or $18 in store credit. We already did our shopping so I chose the $15.
They only handle payments digitally so I could choose from Paypal, Venmo and others. Then they sent it right away.
They took the clothing that you can see here in the laundry basket, and they didn’t take the clothing in the bin below. I took that with me to donate.

It was an easy and quick experience!
