What NOT to Buy this month:
TVs – The best sales of the year came just before Super Bowl Sunday in February. The other best time to buy is Black Friday. If you can wait, watch for Amazon Prime Day time, which is usually in July. Even if you’re not an Amazon Prime member, other stores have great deals to compete during this time, like Target and Best Buy.
Big appliances – Like TVs, big appliances like washers and dryers are not at their lowest prices at this time. If you can wait, shop around Memorial Day when there are usually good sales again.
Gym memberships – Wait until April or May when weather warms up, people start working out more outside, and gyms try to lure new members in!
Seasonal produce on sale now:
Artichokes
Broccoli
Brussels sprouts
Cauliflower
Collard greens
Kiwi
Leeks
Lettuce
Mushrooms
Parsnips
Pineapples
Radishes
Rutabagas
Spinach
