Where Our Honeymoon Will Be!

As I’ve previously shared, I got married in August. It was a wonderful wedding, but we haven’t yet had our honeymoon. We did a minimoon in Bloomington which was fun and closeby, but we knew we wanted to go somewhere WARM and beautiful, with palm trees, preferably in the middle of winter.

 

There are many warm destinations, but we also wanted to go somewhere that’s affordable – a hidden gem with beaches, coastal breezes, and something for everyone; a place that people may not think of right away. And preferably somewhere we hadn’t yet been before.

 

So where are we going?

And this past week (Thursday, December 14th) was National Alabama Day, so it seemed like the perfect time to announce this!

 

We are so excited! We’ll be hosted there next month and I’ll be sharing with you all the cool things you can do there as a couple, with friends or as a family!

 

So far we know there are palm trees, white sand beaches on the gulf, sailing, biking trails, attractions including a ferris wheel, seafood, and much more. But it’s our first time and we still have a lot of planning to do!
