Wow, you guys. We were blown away at all the things you can do at Pinehaven Farm in Wyoming, Minnesota.
This place has over 30 activities plus quirky, unique surprises everywhere.
We visited Pinehaven Farm in the 2023 season – and had a blast. We did so much in several hours but honestly, we barely scratched the surface of what you can do here.
Plus, we have kids who are sensory-sensitive, and they loved it. They had no problems at all. Unlike some places, it wasn’t overwhelming or overstimulating for them.
This place has photo-opportunities galore. I mean, GALORE. There are photo opportunities everywhere – we used some but could have been taking photos all day.
Plus there’s so much here that I created a photo gallery just to fit an adequate number here. I have a few here in this post, plus at the bottom you’ll find my gallery, though it’s only a fraction of the photos I actually took.
Pinehaven has the biggest variety of activities I’ve ever seen in a fall festival, without being overwhelming. Here’s just a glimpse:
- Giant slide
- Trolley rides to the pumpkin patch
- Photo opportunities galore
- Playgrounds
- Corn pit
- Touch a Tractor
- Ziplines
- Food trucks with hot foods
- Donuts, apple cider, and more
- Pumpkin cannon
- Gem mining
- Jumping pillow
- Lots of singing and talking animatronics
- A pumpkin eating dragon
- AND SO MUCH MORE
There really is so much for everyone, and all ages. Little kids will particularly love the corn pit, tricycles and play sets, slides, and farm animals. Older kids will especially love the ziplines, apple launchers, and pumpkin cannon. All ages will love the food, the photo opps, the funny talking and singing animatronics, and the trolley that takes you to the pumpkin patch to pick pumpkins!
We enjoyed apple and pumpkin donuts, food truck food, and kettle corn. Everyone had their favorite activities – my son loved the gem mining and pumpkins, my daughter loved the animals, and my stepson loved the play sets and the tractors! I just loved seeing my family happy. 🙂
Tips:
- I suggest spending all day here if you can. We were here several hours but there was a lot we missed. If you can’t spend a long time here in one day, consider a season pass and come back.
- A lot is included with admission. Most activities and entertainment. But some things like gem mining and food are not included.
- USE MY DISCOUNT CODE TCFM15 to save 15% on admission, which I previously shared here!
- Parking is very organized here, and in our experience, the parking lot attendants directed us to the closest parking spots available.
- DON’T MISS the trolley ride to the pumpkin patch. Pumpkins are so cheap! They’re only $5 no matter their size. They’ll help you pick them. Plus they have pumpkin carts so you don’t have to carry them.
Our sensory-sensitive kids loved it here. There were no loud noises or crowds, at least when we visited. We always bring headphones in case they’re needed, but they weren’t.
And take lots of pictures! They have the coolest backdrops.
