Enjoy FREE admission for all at North Commons Water Park in Minneapolis!
At their meeting on June 16th, 2021, commissioners for the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) voted to eliminate the $5 and $3 admission fees at North Commons Water Park.
So starting June of last year, admission to the water park became FREE for everyone.
All rules at the water park still apply of course, including appropriate swim attire and supervision or companions for children 12 and under.
The water park opens June 11th!

- Loop Slides
- Shallow Water Pool
- Water Playground Features
- Geysers and Funbrellas
- Wading Pool

Water Park Hours for 2022
Saturday-Sunday June 11-12 and 18-19: 1pm to 7pm
Monday-Friday June 13-17 and 20-24: 4pm to 7pm
Saturday June 25 – Sunday August 12: 1pm to 7pm daily
Monday-Friday August 22-26 and 29-31, September 1-2 and 5: 4pm to 7pm
Saturday-Sunday August 27-28 and September 3-4: 1pm to 7pm
Free Swim Lessons!
MPRB swim lessons at North Commons Water Park are also free! You have to register for lessons though – unfortunately though there already people on waiting lists.
Webber Natural Swimming Pool is another pool that’s free to use.
