
Veterans Day is a day to honor those who have given so much to our country. Veterans Day 2021 is on Thursday, November 11th and many retailers and restaurants are offering freebies and discounts to Veterans and their families.
Below is the list of Veterans Day Freebies for 2021. Keep in mind that for most you will need to provide proof of your active military or veteran status to take advantage of these deals. Some deals, under “Freebies & Online Deals” are good for anyone! Also, note that some annual deals may be offered differently this year due to COVID-19.

Free Admission to National Parks – Every year on November 11th you can get free admission into any National Park nationwide.
Restaurants:
Many places offers Active Duty Service Members, Guard Members and Veterans a FREE Meal on Veterans Day. Make sure you pass on this information to anyone you know who is a Veteran or Active Duty so they can snag a free meal too! All places require proof of military service, proof of service includes Military ID, Discharge Papers, DD214 and being in uniform. What proof of service required depends on the restaurant.
Applebee’s: Each year, veterans are invited to pick from one of 7 free meals as a Thank you to service members. Check with your local Applebee’s this year as different local mandates and guidelines vary.
Chili’s: Is offering all military veterans past and present their choice of one of 7 meals. Offer only available at participating Chili’s in the U.S. only. Dine-in from limited menu only.
Country Kitchen – Free Country Scramble breakfast for active and retired military on November 11th.
Denny’s: Get a free Build Your Own Grand Slam breakfast on Nov. 11 from 5 a.m.- noon.
Dunkin’ – Veterans get a free donut of their choice on Thursday, November 11 at participating Dunkin’ restaurants nationwide, no purchase necessary. Available in-store only. No ID necessary.
Golden Corral – Veterans get a free “thank you” meal during military appreciation night, which is on Veterans Day, November 11th from 5:00pm – close.
Green Mill – Green Mill honors our military on Veterans Day with a free menu item. (Also save 10% every day.) (See details on their website.)
Hy-Vee – Hy-Vee is offering a free dine-in breakfast for veterans and active military members on November 11th from 6 – 10 A.M. (Curbside pickup will also be available.) Plus, enjoy 15% off grocery purchase for veterans and active military members. Valid in-store and online Thursday, November 11th only.
IHOP – Free red, white and blue pancakes on November 11th until 7pm. ID required.
Little Caesars® Pizza: Veterans and active duty service members receive a free Lunch Combo, which features four slices of Little Caesars popular Detroit-style DEEP!DEEP!™ Dish pizza, paired with a 20-ounce Pepsi product between 11:00am – 2:00pm.
Red Lobster – Free appetizer or dessert from a select menu on Thursday, November 11. Guests only need to show a valid military ID or proof of service to redeem this offer. Dine-in only.
Red Robin: When Veterans and Active Military register for Red Robin Royalty by November 1st, you’ll get a Free Red’s Tavern Double Burger with Bottomless Steak Fries added to your account – redeemable one-time, Monday 11/1 – Sunday 11/14 for Dine-In or To-Go.
Starbucks – On Nov. 11, Starbucks is honoring those who have served with a free tall hot brewed coffee and also, for every cup of hot brewed coffee sold that day, Starbucks is donating 25 cents to be divided evenly between Headstrong and Team Red, White & Blue to support the mental health of military communities.
Taco John’s – On Thursday, Nov. 11, Taco John’s is giving away a FREE Small Beef Taco Combo Meal – two Crispy Beef Tacos with a beverage and your choice of side – to guests who enter the promo code “VETERAN” under the MORE tab in the Taco John’s App.
TCBY – Veterans and active military receive their first 6 oz free on November 11 with proof of service. Wendy’s – Sign up for Veterans Advantage for special veterans deals year-round including Veterans Day.
Texas Roadhouse – Free entree vouchers from 11:00am – 2:00pm (drive-thru only). Vouchers are valid through May 30, 2022 and can be redeemed for one of 10 entrees including a 6-ounce sirloin and two made-from-scratch sides plus a choice of any Coca-Cola product, sweet tea/iced tea or coffee.
