
You have probably heard of Little Free Libraries, and have seen them when driving around. They are those little “boxes” shaped like libraries on a stand, filled with books for people to take and leave, all for free.
Well, now there is something similar but for movies.
It’s called Free Blockbuster, and it is now in Minnesota!
Free Blockbuster is a place where people can leave movies so other people can borrow them. It’s for VHS tapes and DVDs, and anything else you want to share with your neighbors.
The concept came from a former Blockbuster employee and VHS tape collector in California, who came up with this creative way to use abandoned LA Times newspaper dispensers.
Now anyone can found a “Free Blockbuster” franchise.
As of now, there are dozens of “Free Blockbuster” locations all over the U.S., and even overseas.
