I love this. Every Meal, formerly the Sheridan Story, was created in Minnesota to fight child hunger but providing weekend food to kids in need.
Everyone deserves good, healthful food. And Every Meal is offering a Winter Meal Program where anyone can go to a participating site in the Twin Cities and ask for a food bag.
These food bags are available at many sites through March (this was extended from January!) or at least while supplies last.
These food bags include shelf-stable food.

How to get the food?
Simply go to the front desk and ask for a bag of food. No questions will be asked.
Note that hours vary by location.
In addition, on the third Thursday of each month, you can stop by the Eastside YMCA in St. Paul between 12:00pm and 2:00pm to pick up a free box packed with meat, dairy and produce.
