Do you enjoy wine? Have you thought about signing up for a wine subscription service? Are you overwhelmed by all the choices and deals?
Here I compare 5 of the wine club deals you can get right now.
ALL of them have great introductory offers so you can get great deals on your first shipments. But they do vary a bit.
Here I present the details, and at the very bottom I make suggestions based on what I think you’ll like.
Note – I did try one of them – Firstleaf, which I liked. And I did do the quizzes for all of them to experience what it was like to sign up. The quizzes were similar.
Bright Cellars
Bright Cellars is a monthly wine club that matches you with wine based on a quiz you’ll take. It was actually created by two MIT grads. Their “Bright Points algorithm” scores each wine by comparing 18 attributes to your preferences, matching you with your monthly experience.
What you get when you sign up for my deal:
6 wines for $45, which is 50% of your first box.

What you get if you stay in the club:
You’ll get 6 monthly wines for $90 a month.
However, they offer monthly, bi-monthly, and quarterly options. Skip a month at any time.
How to cancel:
Members are able to make adjustments to their account any time before their next shipment processes by contacting their Wine Concierge team at 1-844-223-5527 or concierge@brightcellars.com.

Firstleaf Wine Club
Right now with FIrstleaf you can get 6 bottles of wine, customized to your tastes, for only $39.95! PLUS you get FREE shipping!
Get the deal now while it lasts!
I tried Firstleaf Wine Club myself!
They’ve had such great deals that I signed up for the club myself!
The process was super easy and fun – you answer a few questions about wine and food that you like, and Firstleaf customizes 6 selections for you!
Then you have the chance to double your order so it’s twice the price for 12 bottles (2 each of 6 different varieties). I went ahead and doubled my order and shared some of the extra wine with others – so if you do this it’s a GREAT way to stock up on wine to give as gifts before the holidays!
My wine all came soon in a big box – note that like with all of these clubs, you have to have an adult 21+ to sign for the delivery since it contains alcohol.
The wine was AWESOME! The varieties fit my tastes and they came with info cards to learn about each one. The cards show the level of sweetness and other details (I like my wine sweet!).
One nice thing is that you can rate the wine after you receive it and your ratings further refine your tasting profile.
Here’s my full review of Firstleaf.

NakedWines.com
NakedWines.com is more of a wholesale wine club. The wine comes from independent winemakers, who are mostly in the U.S., and they get a good, fair cut of the sales.
The prices are definitely less expensive than many wine clubs.
What you get when you sign up for my deal:
6 bottles of wine for $39.99. This is a savings of $100 plus get free shipping. Or use the $100 toward another case of six bottles. (Final price may vary depending on what you select.)

What you get if you stay in the club
You get to schedule a monthly payment into your account, which is then applied to your wine orders. Many individual wines are $10 – $40.
Shipping is free for orders over $100. For mainland United States orders that are less than $100, shipping is $9.99 via FedEx, GSO or UPS.
How to cancel:
If you want to cancel your order for any reason call them at 1-800-673-4718 as soon as possible.

Winc
At Winc.com, you get 4 bottles for 50% off. This is generally 4 bottles of wine for $30 plus free shipping, but when I took the quiz it showed me 4 bottles I could get for $26.48.
This one is sneaky though. It asks for your email before you can start the quiz. But then you get personalized recommendations each month.
What you get when you sign up for my deal:
4 bottles of wine for $30 (or less!). This is the lowest-priced introductory deal but you only get 4 bottles (other clubs are for 6 or more).

What you get if you stay in the club
The monthly charge is $59.95. Shipping is free for orders of $50 or more.
Credits will be added to your account each month, and you can order wine at a pace that works for you. Skip any month and you won’t be charged for credits.
You can also save credits and use them for more premium wine or a case of your personalized favorites.

Comparing them all!
All these are great deals. But here’s my take.
If you just want a few bottles of wine to sample for no more than $30, sign up for Winc.
If you want a LOT of wine in your first shipment for a low per-bottle price, I recommend Wine Insiders.
If you want a wholesale club that’s reasonably priced and supports independent, American winemakers, I suggest NakedWines.com.
If you are a wine LOVER and want the best possible matches for your tastes, I suggest Bright Cellars.
I tested Firstleaf and really enjoyed it, plus they doubled my introductory offer to 12 bottles for only about $60. If you are just an occasional wine drinker like me, I personally recommend Firstleaf because of my experience with them.
However, all of these deals are great!
What do you think? What will you try?
NOTE: These deals may change at any time.
