Do your kids love watching big construction equipment at work? Are they (and you) tired of being cooped up in the house, especially now as the weather gets colder and the days grow shorter?
Extreme Sandbox in Hastings, MN is a heavy equipment adventure company where you can play on construction equipment.
And with the ongoing pandemic, they are offering FREE shows again on Saturday, November 7th where you can sit in your car and watch big construction equipment at work!
It’s called “Heavy Metal Drive Thru” and shows were packed from spring through summer. We attended and enjoyed a front row spot –read about our experience here!
Each show has between 4-6 pieces of heavy equipment operating and doing a variety of activities.
It is FREE and open to the public, but they do ask for people coming to secure a free ticket online in advance so they can plan accordingly. When you get a free ticket you can drive through as many times as you would like and park behind the front row. You only need one ticket per vehicle.
Shows are at 11:00am, 1:00pm and 3:00pm.
The tickets for front row seats are $50 to $125. These will give you the best view.
