Teens starting grades 9-12 in the fall can get FREE summer memberships at all 26 YMCA locations in the Twin Cities, Rochester and Hudson, Wisconsin!
The goal is to give teens a safe place to go to exercise, play sports, and make friends.
If you’re a YMCA member (like I have been), don’t worry – there won’t be floods of teens coming in to claim your favorite treadmill. Only 400 free teen memberships will be given at each location (in 2017, only 150 were given at each branch). Plus, all new members must attend an orientation session which teaches them about the Membership Code of Conduct.
Registration will be open May 28-June 14, 2019. Teens can register online or in branch. There are no income requirements. Membership will run June 1 – August 31, 2019.
Current YMCA members aren’t eligible.
For everyone else, the Y is offering a $0 enrollment fee now through May 31st.
