The Minneapolis Home & Garden Show is happening Feb 22 – 24, and March 1-3, at the Minneapolis Convention Center, and I have a special $3/TICKET DISCOUNT to share – plus a TICKET GIVEAWAY!
My family went to the show last year and there was so much to see and do. Though there’s a family fun area, my kids actually liked the gardens best.
Here’s what you can expect this year!

Clint Harp – For 5 seasons Clint could be found regularly on HGTV’s Fixer Upper as the dumpster diving, reclaimed wood loving carpenter and furniture artisan. Now you can find the Harps and their team on their own show “Wood Work” on the DIY network. Together with Kelly and their 3 kids, the Harps spend each day pursuing their dream and blazing the new trail of owning their own company, Harp Design Co., which provides quality furniture and home goods to customer all across the U.S. and abroad.
Fox Homes – Minnesota based couple, Brad and Heather Fox, work with clients all over the Twin Cities helping clients find their perfect home! They had a pilot premiere on HGTV this summer called “Stay or Sell,” in which they helped couples decide whether to remodel their current homes or find a new one.

- The Feature Gardens
Seven of the most talented landscapers from all over Minnesota will showcase their expertise with using “Lakeside Gardens” as their inspiration and theme!
- Koehler & Dramm Floral Display and Workshops
Guests will be wowed by floral displays and the exclusive opportunity to purchase directly from Koehler & Dramm. With more than 1600sf, this feature area will showcase this year’s hottest flowers, colors, styles and more plus expert guest designers from The Institute of Floristry will host DIY workshops for visitors to take home their own creations.
- Main Stage
The Main Stage sponsored by ProSource Wholesale and Kelli Kaufer Designs offers presentations revolving around remodeling, interior design, landscaping and more! Attendees will get budget saving tips, DIY ideas and education from local speakers and national celebrities. There will also be a Dog Fashion Show this year, featuring dogs available for adoption at Secondhand Hounds!
- Garden Stage:
Professional planters and green-thumbs-in-training alike, prepare to cultivate your gardening know-how with Minnesota’s top outdoor experts. This spring, don’t settle for fake plants and flowers. No matter your budget, style, or size of space, our experts will provide you with tips, tricks and inspiration to help make your gardening dreams a reality. Sponsored by the Minnesota State Horticultural Society and Pond King Water Gardens.
- Foodie Central
Food trucks, popcorn, candy and more! Stop by TBD FEATURE to get your fill on the best food the city has to offer.
- Entrance Flower Market
TBD creating floral inspirations for your welcome to the show! See all the designs in Lobby D.
- Deck Wars
Five local decks companies will compete for the title of Deck Wars Champion. The decks will include different furniture, spas and landscaping showing attendees how they can take their decks to the next level!
- Glamping
Come and check out the latest craze in the camping world, Glamping! With tents from Snowtrekker Tents including a sauna tent from the 612 Sauna Society, guests will see why luxury camping is their next adventure! Furnishings provided by Pottery Barn and landscaping by Landscapes Plus.
- He Shed, She Shed
Local shed companies will use their abilities to showcase all the ways sheds can be used. Yoga studios, man caves and more, come see why you need one in your backyard!
- Make It, Take It
Three companies with interactive DIY projects will be featured in this area. Carver Junk Company will have a succulent bar, Projects in Person will create aTBD activity and Denver Chalks is back with chalk art! Visit them all in the Make It, Take It area to make your very own project!
- Backyard Lounge
Get straight to the heart of the action with a stop at the Backyard Lounge, where your favorite beverages meet the latest in outdoor furniture, sponsored by Plants and Things USA and Outdoor Innovations Landscaping. Located in Hall D.

Your design questions and style doubts answered by the experts. Upsy Daisy will upcycle reused items from the Twin Cities ReStore to create one-of-a-kind pieces in the Garden Edition of the challenge. All pieces will be auctioned off at the show with the proceeds benefitting Habitat for Humanity ReStore.

Some of the most requested items from our consumers are garden products! They spoke, we listened and now the Garden Market is here for all the latest in flowers, plants and garden décor to take yards from dull and drab to bright and beautiful.
