Twin Cities families – there are two big reasons to head to the National Sports Center in Blaine this Saturday, October 14th!
First, your kids (and you!) can be part of a World Record Attempt for Largest Nerf Battle! If your kids like nerf guns and battles (like my son does – he just got a new one for his birthday), then you will definitely want to be part of this. There’s no required cost but they ask for a donation.
Details:
October is National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month. Project My Neighborhood is hosting their first annual Great Minnesota Nerf Battle, and they’re attempting to break the world record for largest Nerf battle – goal is to exceed 2,200 participants. Funds raised at the event will go to PACER.org for bullying prevention, to Project My Neighborhood for our scholarship and student ambassador program, and toward renting a space for consistent events all year round.

Second, The Kris Lindahl Team is sponsoring a FREE Pumpkin Giveaway from 11-2 at the P fields (look for signs). Last year I went with my kids and there were so many pumpkins – it was awesome!
The Great Pumpkin Giveaway was started in 2014 by The Kris Lindahl Team as a way to say thank you for supporting our real estate team. It has grown into one of the biggest Halloween events in the state. Last year we broke the Guinness World Record for Longest Pumpkin Line. We can’t thank you enough for supporting our team. Bring the family out on Oct 14th so we can have some fun!
