Thrift store shoppers take note – a BIG 50% off sale is taking place this Thursday, July 16th to Sunday, July 19th at Twin Cities area Savers and Unique Thrift Store locations!
Two people must check out at the same time and Super Savers Club Card (Savers) or VIP card (Unique Thrift) is required by both parties to receive special “Bring-A-Friend” offer. (Friends without Club Card or VIP card may sign up in-store.) Excludes new merchandise (red tags). Not valid with any other coupon or discount.
I talked with Dave, the store manager at Unique Thrift in New Hope, to get some insider info and tips for this sale. Here’s what I found out:
- As long as two people are checking out at the same time, and both have the Super Savers or VIP card, both will get 50% off their purchase. Though it’s best to go with a friend or family member, even if you just pair up with the person next to you in line at the checkout at the last minute, you can get the deal.
- You can use either your Savers and Unique Thrift store card at all locations. So if you’re at a Unique Thrift store but only have a Super Savers Club Card from Savers, you can get the 50% off. Savers bought Unique Thrift stores 2-1/2 years ago so they’re all part of the same company.
- They save the best products for the 50% sale. So if they have a great pair of jeans that haven’t sold they’ll be sure to have it out for the sale.
- At the New Hope location, they put out 13,000 new items PER DAY. Furniture are put out on Sundays and Mondays (about 300 pieces of new items). So it’s worth going to the sale any of the days as there are always new items to check out.
