I had the super fun experience of sitting down to a special 8-course media dinner at the Hard Rock Café at the Mall of America ® to try out their new menu items.
Yes, serious – 8 courses!
The Hard Rock Café has revealed a new menu with items for every taste, starting with samples of their homemade spinach artichoke dip. Mmmm…
Next was a sampling of their Grilled Chicken Arugula Salad with baby arugula, grilled chicken, spicy pecans, dried cranberries and fresh oranges tossed lemon balsamic vinaigrette, topped with crumbled feta cheese.
Main entrees included a delicious variety: barbecue chicken, hickory-smoked ribs, coleslaw, baked beans, and a sampling of three burgers: the Original Legendary Burger with a fried onion ring, a Hickory Barbecue Bacon Cheeseburger, and a Veggie Leggie, a veggie leggie patty with a grilled portabello mushroom, zucchini, yellow squash and roasted red pepper. I couldn’t decide on one as my favorite – they were all so flavorful and hearty!
Of course with an 8-course meal we couldn’t just have one dessert. They just kept bringing them out – we got to enjoy Oreo Cheesecake and a Hot Fudge Brownie.
Here’s their Fresh Apple Cobbler served warm with vanilla ice cream, walnuts and caramel sauce.
For the adults, the Hard Rock Café has some really unique “grown-up” desserts. You can find them in their cocktail menu. Check out their Twisted Shakes – here’s their Twist & Shout Shake made with BACARDI OakHeart Spiced Rum, Guinness, DeKuyper Dark Crème de Cacao, chocolate syrup, vanilla ice cream and Monin Salted Caramel. Then it’s topped with whipped cream, caramel, chocolate syrup and BACON PIECES! This one was my FAVORITE dessert…if only I had room for it all after all the other entrees and desserts!
