With a 3-year-old who loves cars and can already recognize a “hot rod” and other classic car, we like to visit car shows whenever we can. And there are many throughout the summer in Minnesota!
Cruisin’ on the Croix is Stillwater’s Hot Rod & Vintage Car Show and it’s held every Wednesday from June 4-Aug 27, 2014. There are many cars to see, plus live music, food & vendors!
Best of all, it takes place right by the St. Croix river in Stillwater, so you can enjoy walking along the river and all the sights of downtown.
We visited last Wednesday and enjoyed looking at all the unique cars.
There was fun, live music that kids were dancing to.
We enjoyed some ice cream from Leo’s Grill & Malt Shop and walked around, enjoying a summer night out!
Another weekly car show to visit is the North St. Paul History Cruze Car Show on Friday nights through September 19th. Visit their website for special events and more info.
