If you’ve heard of Crunchmaster crackers, did you know that Crunchmaster offers many varieties of crackers, chips, and crisps that are gluten-free and made with whole grain?
Crunchmaster provided me with a six-pack of their yummy crackers to try, and is providing another six-pack for me to give away!
My family is a cracker-chips-crunchy-anything loving family. We all love our crunchy munchies with cheese, peanut butter, dips, or just on their own. So when this box of six Crunchmaster snacks came in the mail, my husband and kids were just as anxious as me to try all the varieties: Multi-Seed Original, Multi-Grain Cheddar, Multi-Grain Sea Salt, Cheezy Crisps, Grammy Crisps, and 7 Ancient Grains Sea Salt crackers.
My kids right away loved the Cheezy Crisps and the Grammy Crisps – the Cheezy Crisps had intense, natural cheddar flavor, and the Grammy Crisps were sooo cinnamon-y (I love cinnamon & sugar so I gobbled these up!). What’s great about them both is that they’re made with 100% whole grains, contain 50% less fat than regular cheese and graham cracker snacks and are certified gluten and peanut free.
The Multi-Seed Original crackers and 7 Ancient Grains crackers I thought were so versatile – I recommend them with anything including cheese, peanut butter, spreads and so much more.
The Multi-Grain White Cheddar and Multi-Grain Sea Salt Crackers are made from whole grain brown rice, stone-ground corn, oat fiber and a 4-seed blend. I think they make a great alternative to chips.
Here’s a recipe you can try for Gluten-Free Baked Hummus using Crunchmaster crackers:
Gluten-Free Baked Hummus
Ingredients:
2 – (7 oz.) containers of plain prepared hummus
1¼ c. crumbled feta cheese
2/3 c. chopped Kalamata olives
2/3 c. chopped fresh tomato
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 package of Crunchmaster Original Multi-Seed Crackers or your favorite flavor
Directions:
Spread hummus evenly into an 8×8 inch square baking dish. Sprinkle with feta cheese, making sure to evenly cover the surface. In a separate bowl, gently toss the tomatoes and olives together until blended well. Layer the olive and tomato mixture on top of the feta cheese. Drizzle with 2 Tbsp. olive oil. Bake at 350°F for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve with Crunchmaster crackers
