Summer has officially started in Minnesota and it’s a great time to enjoy frozen treats to cool off on a hot day! However, many frozen treats aren’t the healthiest options. How about some FREE frozen fruit & veggie bars to help?
This Wednesday, July 2nd in Minneapolis, Outshine brand is giving away FREE samples of their Fruit & Veggie Bars as part of a nationwide sample tour. These new bars contain 25% vegetables and provide a yummy, healthy and refreshing way to snack.

This sample tour is part of a new campaign called “A Million Ways to Outshine.” Outshine is providing monetary donations for fresh fruits and vegetables to food banks across the country to help improve the health of the communities they serve. The donation aligns with the Outshine brand’s overall mission to provide healthier snacking options.
Starting this month, Outshine is donating one million pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables to twenty food banks in designated food deserts — communities that lack access to fresh, affordable, healthy food. As a result, many of the residents in these areas suffer from higher rates of health conditions, such as obesity, heart disease and more.
Knowing how difficult and expensive it can be to access fresh produce, the Outshine Fruit Bars brand has provided a donation to the Emergency Food Network to purchase 50,000 pounds of fruits and vegetables.
Outshine Fruit & Veggie Bars each contain 25% vegetables, and are made from vegetable purees and juices. There are five flavors: Blueberry Medley, Tangerine Carrot, Apple and Greens, Peach Mango Medley, and Strawberry Rhubarb, as well as a 12-count multi-pack featuring Blueberry Medley, Strawberry Rhubarb, and Tangerine Carrot.
