How much do you know about couponing? Do you use coupons now more than you used to? Do you fit the most common profile of a coupon user? (I’m surprised to say that according to this, I do almost exactly! Keep reading to see if you do, too!)
I have mixed feelings about coupons…I do clip them, carry them with me and use them regularly, but I find it can be overwhelming to keep up with them, too. I probably use coupons at half of my grocery store visits, saving as much as $20-30 a visit (out of $100 or so). The other half of the time I was too busy to prepare or just didn’t buy a lot of items I had coupons for (like produce or specialty items). Or I shopped at ALDI where coupons aren’t accepted (because prices are so low already!).
I do use coupons pretty much always when eating out, getting gas, and for entertainment venues. There are so many coupons out there I often don’t feel right doing things WITHOUT them.
