Easy Creamy Chicken & Noodles Recipe
One of the meals I make regularly is a one-pot creamy chicken & noodles recipe. It’s super easy and tastes so yummy!
Takes about 25 minutes to prepare and serves 4.
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (may use cooked breasts)
1/3 cup finely chopped onion
1-3/4 cups (14-1/2 oz can) chicken broth
2 cups (10 oz package) of frozen peas and carrots
1/2 package egg noodles, uncooked
1 can (10-3/4 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
3/4 cup milk
3/4 grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
- In heavy 5-quart saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add chicken and onion. Cook 5 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink.
- Add chicken broth; heat to boiling.
- Stir in uncooked paste and vegetables. Stir to coat evenly with liquid.
- Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover; simmer on medium heat 8 minutes, stirring occasionally or until most liquid is absorbed.
- Meanwhile, in medium bowl, stir together soup, milk, and 1/2 cup cheese until smooth. Stir into the pasta mixture.
- Simmer until heated through.
- Sever sprinkled with remaining cheese.
